About D&T
We teach the part most people were never taught.
D&T Equity Inc. is an education company. Our whole job is to take someone who has never invested before and explain how it works, clearly enough that they can make their own decisions.
Why we do this
Most people leave school without ever being shown how investing actually works. They get their first paycheck and are left to piece it together from videos, headlines and advice from whoever happens to be nearby. It is a bad way to learn something that affects the rest of your life.
The gap is not intelligence. It is exposure. Nobody sat down and explained it. So we do that — starting at the very beginning, in order, without assuming you already know anything.
We focus on three things because they are the foundation: how to invest in assets, how to open investment accounts, and how to hold your investment assets inside a holding company. Get those right and everything after them is easier to follow.

Understanding comes first
You should know what something is and how it works before you put a dollar into it. We would rather spend an extra hour explaining than have you nod along without really following.
Plain words, always
Investing has its own vocabulary and most of it is unnecessary. We use the words you would use, and if a term has to be used, we explain it the first time.
No pressure, ever
We are not here to sell you a product or push you toward a decision. We teach, you decide. That order never changes.
Who we teach
People who are just getting started. College students and recent graduates. Anyone who has decided they want to understand investing properly, before they commit to anything.
